While I was on the verge of my lesson planning this afternoon Tina my class monitor came into my room and handed in some papers to sign. I asked her what are those for and she replied that it has to do with the upcoming graduation of my students. Whew! That means, the spring term is about to end. Sad to know but I am partly happy as well for my agonies would end for my naughtiest class ever! Though surely I will miss my students most especially my favorite – HF1ABs. They are just so enthusiastic learners and all the time willing to cooperate in class. There weren’t any dull moments in that class which makes me say even now that I would definitely miss them. As I finished signing all the papers, I realized that CHANGE is constant. Though I already know this fact but experiencing it is more realistic. I always deal with change in my life but having such a wonderful class made me say that I hate change. No, not to that point but but but,,,it’s just that I’d miss them.

Thursday, February 26th, 2009Happy to Have a Breather
Thursday, February 19th, 2009Today is the first day of my week here at school but luckily I haven’t got any class tonight. I still went early to school as always and prepared for my week’s lesson plans. I usually make LPs before the busiest days – Saturdays and Sundays. I need to otherwise; I’d be having disastrous classes at the end of the day. Grins. I’d better be prepared in every battle than catching myself empty handed. Chances are that I can be shoot to death easily like in a matter of seconds. Smiles.
Fun Race
Thursday, February 12th, 2009I’ve come up with such wondrous ideas while I was bathing this morning. I read it in one of the suggested sites of my colleague and I applied it in my class with elementary school students. Indeed, it really worked out with them. We enjoyed a lot most especially when we run out of time while making the Olympic torches for we weren’t able to go to Wenzhou to witness the official torch pass by. We just created some games and fun stuffs to spice our classes with a taste of the Olympics thing. Today’s been all right for all of us in school and I hope it would be the same tomorrow.
We Enjoyed Tonight
Friday, February 6th, 2009Today is the last day of my early learners’ class with my toddler students. They are really lovely and quick learners. I just love them simply because they are so true and angelic. Tonight we had a thorough review of all the lessons within the term. I was so surprised they memorized everything! WOW! Really young children have very good memory. They remember all the actions, songs, rhymes, and vocabulary I taught. On the second half of our class, their parents joined and they had fun with us too not to mention my assistant who always enjoys this class. Before I said goodbyes to my little kids their mothers came to me and thanked me wholeheartedly for teaching their kids foreign language. Their child speaks more at home and shares the action stories learned in school. These, I can say, are my inspirations here as I have more or less seven months more to go before I come home soon.
